Ghost Girl picture by the deer feeder - solved ghost ap

Nov 17,2011 Thanks to one of our guest posts we figured out that this photo of the ghost girl is a fake. Done with the ghost ap that you can find on your smart phone. Apparently this photo had been floating around the internet.

I've been meaning to post this picture for a while but have not gotten around to it. From the looks of the picture she is dress in the 1900 period but thats just a guess.

The picture I believe was taken up somewhere up north of Texas. No one really knows for sure but a friend of mine showed me this on his phone while we at Chris Madrids. If your wondering its not the ghost ap most people think where you can take the picture and it puts a ghost in the picture so this one is ruled out because the photo does not resemble any from the ghost ap.

Real or fake is the question? Well even if the photo is real people out there Im sure will say its fake. I hope its real.

Its hard to say if you do have the original or not. Much less if the photo is real or not. I though it was an interesting photo since at the time of the posting it had now been circulated.

Ghost Capture app for the i-phone and droid. This app randomly will place pre-set "ghosts" into your photos. It's not real, it's just for fun, but there are people who either don't get that, or are trying to pass of a known fake to fool the ghost hunting community.

See this link and look at some of these ghosts. You may be surprised to recognize a few.

Look at the dress, the belt on the dress, the collar on the dress, the lack of feet and one arm... it's just an iphone app. I personally hate these apps. It makes those of us in the ghost hunting community look foolish.

I know this is old... but this is an i-phone app. (Also now on the android phones.) these app is called "Ghost Capture". They're not real, they're just for fun. If you have this app, it will randomly put a pre-set "Ghost" into one of your phone photos. This little girl is the most famous. See the link below.

Look at the hair, the dress, the collar, the belt, the lack of feet and an arm. This girl is the girl in question. she is a fake ghost.

I don't know if people who use this app just don't understand this is a joke app, or if they know and are trying to pass it off as real. That's why I hate these phone apps. There are those of us in the Ghost hunting community who take this very seriously, and when things like this are passed off as real, it makes all of us look foolish and puts a big question mark over even legit evidence.

Solved. Looks like this photo was taken with the ghost ap. Thanks Aravyndra. You are right it makes ghost stories less credible but then again it got peoples attention to the paranormal. Thanks for solving the ghost girl photo. I can see it now .

I was tottaly pissed for better words when I confronted the "friend" that said he took the pic...He lied to an entire Native american community while trying to get attention for his self serving needs.. I take back what I said...and more than once I have been embarrassed because of this mans lies..I take this very serious ... with how far we have come in this field ..its sad that people would make things up...funny thing.. you dont have to make things up..because they really do exist...

Thats the great thing about the internet it allows people to look at photos like these to determine if they are real ghosts or not. Thanks for posting.
